Welcome to the NSM Sports Events Terms & Conditions page. Here, we aim to clarify the legal agreements that govern the relationship between NSM Sports Events and our valued clients. These terms establish the expectations and obligations of both parties involved in our services. It is essential for our clients to be aware of the specific conditions regarding bookings, cancellations, and the extent of our liability. Our aim is to ensure a mutually beneficial and transparent partnership as we work together to create exceptional sports events.
Booking & Deposits
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
Places are not guaranteed until the deposit is received.
Full payment must be made by the balance due date provided at booking.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of deposit.
Payment Terms
Payment schedules will be provided at the time of booking.
Payments may be made via bank transfer or approved payment methods.
Any bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender.
Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed.
Cancellations by Participants
If a participant cancels:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations after the balance due date are non-refundable.
Participant substitutions may be allowed subject to organiser approval.
We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation or Changes by the Organiser
NSM Sports Events reserves the right to:
cancel or reschedule an event due to insufficient numbers, extreme weather, course closure, or circumstances beyond our control.
alter golf courses, accommodation, or schedules if necessary.
If an event is cancelled by the organiser, a refund of payments made (excluding third-party costs already incurred) will be provided.
Travel & Insurance
Participants are responsible for:
flights and travel arrangements (unless part of a package)
valid passports and travel documents
appropriate travel and medical insurance
We strongly advise insurance covering:
trip cancellation
injury or illness
golf equipment loss
travel disruption
Handicap & Playing Ability
Participants should have a playing ability suitable for matchplay golf.
Organisers reserve the right to:
adjust handicaps for fairness
allocate tees appropriately
ensure matches remain competitive and enjoyable
Behaviour & Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward:
fellow players
golf course staff
accommodation providers
local venues and residents
NSM Sports Events reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or abusive. No refunds will be provided in such cases.
Liability
NSM Sports Events acts as an event organiser and is not liable for:
personal injury, loss or damage to property
travel delays or disruptions
actions of third-party providers (golf courses, hotels, transport)
circumstances beyond our control
Participants take part at their own risk
Photography & Media
Photographs and videos may be taken during events for promotional purposes.
By attending, participants consent to the use of images in marketing materials unless they notify the organiser in writing.
Weather & Course Conditions
Events will proceed in normal playing conditions.
No refunds will be given for weather interruptions unless the golf course officially closes.
Apartments & Venue Rules
Participants must comply with the rules of:
accommodation providers
golf clubs
restaurants and venues
Any damage caused may be charged to the responsible individual(s).
Force Majeure
NSM Sports Events shall not be liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters
extreme weather
government restrictions
travel disruptions
pandemics
Acceptance of Terms
By paying a deposit or balance, participants confirm they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Event Spirit
Our events are built on friendly competition, camaraderie and mutual respect. We ask all participants to contribute positively to the atmosphere both on and off the course.
